Consequences 2: This Time with Themes is, as the name suggests, the second collection of sound pieces created by the Quadruped Collective, but this time, with themes. The project followed the same rules as Consequences, each person taking a turn writing a sound or layer, working with what came before, to form a structured sound piece, like the parlour game Consequences. Themes were added to give the artists something more to work with. Laurie was determined to make a "long" piece, as in a piece which lasted longer than 10 minutes, and so we used this as a starting point. The Quadruped Collective was formed at the beginning of lockdown as a means to virtually work on a project together. Once handed over the previous artist had no control over what came next. The order in which each person added to the piece was determined randomly, as was who did the visual for that weeks soundpiece.
