Quadruped Collective
Quadruped collective, formed during the first UK lockdown, is comprised of Richard Waterton, Martha Clark, Laurie Hill, and Luc Wilkinson. The collective met at Wimbledon College of Art (UAL), whilst studying Fine Art: Print and Time Based Media. They first collaborated as a group during their first year at university in 2015, originally having fun just messing around making nonsense sound pieces and generally experimenting with sound. These pieces were uploaded to Soundcloud, and eventually forgotten, only to be rediscovered 5 years later during a casual Zoom call at the beginning of the covid-19 pandemic. The four decided to come together and continue this exploration of sound, extending through to visual mediums during the pandemic.
